A classic Polynesian icon.

Arenui means large wave and with large waves comes our large honu or turtles. In Tahiti the honu was considered sacred in ancient times. Over the years, tattoo artists and carvers have created many artistic depictions in stone, wood and shells. Our Arenui Honu pendant is carved in mother-of-pearl shell showcasing traditional tattooing motifs.

Arenui Honu is facing down.Approximate size is 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". Braided black cordage is 18" in length.
