A basket for all seasons. Our hand woven baskets are perfect to highlight the simple and elegant. The classic shape lends to the attraction. Sprigs of tropical orchids, a small potted palm or fern, a dried flower arrangement or a bouquet of roses, are just a few picturesque examples.

Place on your lanai, entryway, porch or inside. You'll make a tropical atmosphere you'll enjoy again and again.

Basketry has been developed into a fine art. Found in Tenganan, a remote village on the island of Bali, Ate (pronounced ah-tay) is a durable and beautiful grass. It’s traditionally used to weave expertly crafted baskets. This prolific creeping plant is harvested from the forest that surround the village, allowing skilled artisans to create designs that are as practical as they are attractive.

Ate is much stronger than rattan, as it's water, heat, and insect resistant. An average-size basket takes two to three weeks to make, worked on by both men and women when it's too hot or rainy to work the fields.
